Mission (almost) accomplished...

Today's goal was to do nothing.

I largely succeeded.

Last night's email suggests that the Kazakhstan gig is off. This morning's email suggests I should not yet cancel my airline ticket. This job is one thrill after another, let me tell you.

Data point: Seagulls like raw squid more than pieces of bread.
