Sure is quiet, for a Monday...
Apr. 13th, 2009 08:38 pmIt would appear to be pretty quiet all around my end of the translationsphere.
Galina has been reminding me to catch the most recent (last?) episode of Life, starring Damian Lewis, titled One (Season 2, Episode 21). For Galina to encourage me to watch any kind of television - aside from the myriad home-improvement shows we've exposed ourselves to - must be some kind of first. Anyway, while she settled in to watch the latest Chuck, I finally checked out the Life episode at hulu.com. I must say, it does a fairly good job of tying off loose ends.
I hung around the homestead while Galina went to Durango to take on Home Depot about our countertop. Today's weather was gorgeous. It was warm enough outside to sunbathe, I think, though I spent most of my time going through boxes in a fruitless quest for missing stuff.
I also moved an old, no-longer-functional refrigerator out of the garage; tomorrow, I shall have to douse the dust and mouse droppings from where the fridge stood with chlorine bleach and then carefully dispose of the mess while wearing a mask (hantavirus - more specifically, hantavirus pulmonary syndrome - is no joke).
Of course, that's if no new work arrives.
Cheers...
