It wasn't all that bad...

The weather actually held today, making it easier to work in and out of the garage. I cleaned up the mess under where the old fridge used to stand and then used some "spare parts" to cobble together an extension to my work table.

While the spirit was upon me, Galina prevailed on yours truly to mount the old kitchen corner cabinet (the one with the lazy-susan) above the new work area, which caused me to undo some of the work I had done, but in the end, I mounted the corner cabinet and one other surviving cabinet above the table, which ought to help out in the keeping-stuff-out-of-sight department.

Work flow finally resumed today. I have a short item due tomorrow morning, followed by two and a half solid days of drudgery. (See, I'm complaining already!)

Mike showed up today to work on some projects here in town, one of which will be receiving the wood for our flooring. Galina is pretty jazzed, and I must confess to a certain growing optimism in this area as well.
