It's been raining every day for the past several days, and not just showers, but thunderstorms!

These storms aren't big and broad, such as the ones in Florida or Texas. They disguise themselves as light, fluffy clouds that are relieving themselves of extra moisture as they drift by.

And then blam! they will let go with a bolt (and concomitant thunder) that makes you want to jump out of your skin. One bolt hit so close to the house yesterday that I could feel the shock wave as it propagated into the house through a semi-open window.

If this precipitation continues, we are going to have a bountiful mushroom season in late summer.

I'm about the same as where I was yesterday with fighting my cold. Hopefully, tomorrow I'll feel better.

Cheers...
