At least it seems that way.

The newness of the house in Seabrook has worn off, and although it's still curiously liberating to not have so many things to keep track of, I keep stumbling into situations where I find I need (or, since it is not really a matter of life-and-death, would like to have) various items, such as an S-video cable or a 5-VDC charger that'll fit my camera equipment. This is in addition to things mentioned in previous posts, such as my Y&T stamp catalog.

I've translated nearly 5,000 words of an assignment my client and I have agreed contains about a gazillion numbers in tables, and which was assigned with the understanding that said numbers would not be included in the invoiced word count. The end result is that I really don't know how many words I've translated today in that document (and how many were collateral numbers), but I can tell you that I have just under 1000 source "words" left for tomorrow morning.

That mystery aside, I can definitively state that, in addition to whatever I've translated of that document, I've also completed a 922 target word radiogram and another 1500 target words for a good East coast client.

Besides the outstanding 1000 or so words, the plate contains about 5,000 words for Sunday night, another 5,000 words for next Wednesday, and another 35,000 words for a deadline too far out to contemplate, for now.

Cheers...
