Dec. 21st, 2009
I picked up a truck in Durango and survived the doctor's appointment, but upon returning home, the truck - being empty - just didn't want to go up the driveway. Nor did it want to go down all too readily, at least not without taking the "scenic" route.
I finally went to the neighbor's house and he helped get the truck back down and then all the way up the driveway with his tractor.
The weather dweebs have issued another winter storm warning for our area that starts tonight and lasts until Wednesday afternoon. If things pan out the way they predict, I may have to leave for Houston on Thursday, and that means spending part of Christmas on the road. I figure at least there won't be too many other people on the road that day, at least.
It's been a long one, even if I haven't been translating.
Cheers...
