Sort of a day off...
Mar. 26th, 2010 10:00 pmI'd been putting off a lot of maintenance sorts of things, so while deadlines aren't pressing, I took the day to address a number of them.
I also experienced a dose of what might or might not be reality as far as the future of translation is concerned, I'm not exactly sure. Specifically, this has to do with the dynamic that exists between end clients, agencies, and freelancers.
I do know that I've had similar reactions to circumstances in the past and have managed to see my worst fears remain unrealized. This doesn't mean I should ignore the issues at hand, but it also doesn't mean that my gut reaction to developments are something to lose any sleep over.
It snowed enough this afternoon for wind to push around an accumulation on the verandah, but by the time dinner rolled around, it had all melted, and after dinner, I was able to walk to and from the cluster boxes without a problem.
Cheers...
