Glide path...
Dec. 16th, 2010 05:47 pmIt's been a fairly even-strain kind of day. I'm 99% complete on the remaining French-to-English job (despeckling is all but done), and since I'll likely not be going to the amateur radio breakfast tomorrow morning (it snowed last night, about 2 inches, and will probably snow again tonight), I should be in fine shape to send the job in when I get up.
I've been doing some more exploration of Evernote, and when I tried installing the application's clipper in my updated version of Opera, lo! It worked, which means I am back on track in terms of dumping Firefox, as it continues to behave in a maddeningly slow fashion when I do run it on my system.
Windows insisted on installing updates at a most inconvenient time this morning, but eventually, I let it have its way. This meant (among other things) unhooking everything that's plugged into my Acer, else the unit won't boot properly (which is mildly annoying).
Which reminds me: I need to keep current backups of what's on the machine. Just in case—y'know?
Cheers...
