More plate-scraping...
Dec. 30th, 2010 10:15 amThree short items hit the inbox this morning, and all three have been translated and sent back. The editing job has been sent and invoiced. The plate is clean. One last orgy of invoicing remains, which I shall savor.
It's been snowing pretty much since yesterday early in the morning, though it's difficult to say, at any given time, whether it's actually snowing, or whether the wind is just having a little fun. Galina was convinced that there was at least a foot of snow on top of the cars, but I'm thinking it's about half that (and if the wind keeps up, the snow will have been taken care of soon, as if by magic).
(Can one write "the snow'll've" and get away with it? Or is "the snow will've" about as far as one can push it? Or am I suffering from cabin fever? Hmmm—I'm starting to sound like... nah!)
There are things to be done around the house. I best get to 'em.
Cheers...
