Out past the last tower...

Connectivity has been a bear, today. My DROID appears to be making connections to my and Galina's laptops via the built-in "mobile hotspot" feature, but the 3G connection between the phone and the network keeps fading out. The same is true for the AT&T connection on the iPad, where various programs keep telling me that they can't do their thing without an Internet connection, even though I can still see two or three bars in the upper left-hand corner.

Some work came in, but not enough to interfere with the effort in the garage. We also had a guy come by to give us an estimate for the yard work that needs to be done. More sticker shock.

On a positive note, the direct job from California came through, so as soon as the first advance check clears, I'll be on the hook for about 15,000 words of fairly turgid prose, to be done by the end of May.
