Jul. 28th, 2011 11:46 pmI participated in my first "multilateral" Google+ hangout today, and it was not bad, considering there were four audio/video streams involved, spanning 13 time zones.
Meanwhile, an old client of mine has rediscovered me, and I'm getting a steady stream of rush jobs. I'm not complaining.
Especially since our Seabrook tenant just lost his job and will quit the house at the end of the month, i.e., this weekend. We had discussions earlier in the month about giving him a break on his current rent, but apparently getting laid off was the final straw. The most recent email from the tenant suggests the family will be leaving the area. It's a pretty good bet we won't find a replacement in time to collect rent for August; here's hoping for something good to happen by the beginning of September.
