Fall, please come back! We miss you!

There are mornings that are downright pretty around here. And however one feels about snow, well... how can you not enjoy this view, taken just as the sun was coming up:


I got up in plenty of time to get to the amateur radio breakfast this morning, but between Galina deciding to make pancakes and the fact that the cars were "snowed in" (even if the driveway was not)


I decided to let my inherently lazy nature take over and said to heck with scraping ice and snow off of glass: this week, Friday breakfast is at home!

The lure of the mailbox overcame that reluctance to break out the scraper after breakfast, though. As I suspected, a small (and welcome) pile of client checks awaited me. They have since been deposited and I am back at work.
