Today was an overcast day that finally yielded a few drops of rain that may still be falling.
There was no work in the hopper, so Galina and I took off to take care of some errands, which eventually brought us back home in the early afternoon. I dragged a couple of tarps of leaves down the hill, but then settled down to do some sorting of stuff in the basement.
Meanwhile, Mickey contemplated inflicting mayhem on a colorful house plant.
We made crockpot lasagne yesterday afternoon, and had it for dinner. It was yummy. As you might expect, we had left-over lasagne for today's late lunch upon returning home. Dinner was a no-fuss deal. Galina had some sliced tomato and a ham-and-avocado sandwich; I heated up a package of udon noodles and threw some leftover chicken into the pot as well.
Mickey supervised.
Invoices are all up to date, and based on month-to-date billings, here's hoping the second half of the month is a bit more active in that department than the first half.
