No rush...
Nov. 19th, 2011 11:00 pmToday was a pretty slow day, overall. I hit most of my activity numbers, but it still felt like a pretty sedentary day. Maybe it's because I did no yard work and did not wander more than a dozen yards from the house all day long.
The day didn't start slowly, however. I awoke at 3:47 am to a phone call that turned out to be nothing, but the adrenaline that was pumped into my system by the oh-dark-thirty call kept me from falling back asleep, and I rose to face the day a few minutes to 5 am.
Around 2 pm, it occurred to me that the reason I felt tired was that I probably was tired, so I took a nap for the first time in quite a while.
Galina cobbled together a tasty soup at lunch time, made of fresh vegetables and chicken stock. It was so good, I had three bowls during the course of the day. Dinner was a salad with low-fat feta (I'm not buying that item any time real soon), tomato, and three leftover meatballs.
In between this and that, I've been thinking, which is always a process fraught with danger. I'm curious to see if I'll see things in the same light tomorrow morning.
Cheers...
