Curiously enough, when I fired up LiveJournal's update.bml page, I was afforded the opportunity of loading and continuing to work on the post I had been writing yesterday while in Chrome. Go figure.

The Chrome browser, by the way is a great memory hog (I see some really impressive numbers in Task Manager), but until yesterday, when it crashed, it always seemed to be able to deal with anything I asked it to do.

In the afternoon, I went again to the Humane Society's shelter and picked up some pointers on getting dogs to walk with a "loose leash." Shiloh is a natural-born "puller" (she's mostly "hawg dog"), and I have to tell you, it is not very pleasant to have a dog do its utter best to drag you around as you try to walk it.

I worked with a cute Corgi mix named Cookie today, and was pretty amazed at how quickly I went from being jerked around in all directions (it sort of felt like playing with a yo-yo that goes out to the end of the string, then comes back right back past you and goes out to the end of its string in another direction), to having Cookie walking—most of the time—close enough to me for the leash to be looping down and dragging on the ground.

March invoices are gone, hooray!

Cheers...
