Not an easy one, but enjoyable...
Jun. 8th, 2012 11:33 pmThe amateur radio breakfast started the day off right, after which I made a run past the City Market for flowers and victuals. Upon arriving home, I proceeded to make bread (two loaves in the oven and one in the slow cooker) and some other goodies.
Then I got down to work, which required me to hunker down and do some serious lookups. I continued in this manner until about 3:30 pm, when I turned to a general dusting of the place and another run for food items. Upon my return, I commenced making dinner for Galina, me and our guests: Marnie (the incomparable dog trainer) and her husband and daughter.
Dinner was enjoyable (I had to actually ask Galina when the last time had been that we had company for dinner, and was disappointed by the answer). And Marnie managed to fit in a training session with Shiloh, to boot.
After the guests left, I went back downstairs to see if I could finish another 750 words to meet my self-imposed quota of 2,500 source words for the day. A few minutes ago, I met that goal.
I shall reward myself by going off to examine the inner surface of my eyelids for a while.
Cheers...
