A quiet day, more or less...

I found an old charger recently, and can report that my Zen Nomad music player is still chargeable (while the battery in my Zaurus is not).

Today's hours spent at the animal shelter were, as always, instructive. The fact that new skills are taking major effort to master is probably a good thing.

Today's quota of translation was reached, but only after difficulty. I've tried a new technique, involving an initial machine translation of text (using PROMT), but the amount of text output that survives the "editing" process is quite small. I'm not at all sure the extra step buys me anything, really.

It was a leftovers kind of day, which isn't bad, considering the leftovers that we had from yesterday. I look forward to more of the same tomorrow.
