Taking it as a sign...
Jun. 17th, 2012 08:07 pmWord has a habit of "phasing out" from time to time while I'm working—the egotist in me says it's because I type too fast—but when it did so with less than 500 words left of The Paleolithic Job&trade, and then came back with Wordfast disabled (comatose?), I figured it was a good time to quit working for the day.
The Infiniti is pixillated. It won't start, and I don't think it's necessarily the battery that's the problem. Nor the starter. It's simply pixillation, that's all.
Dinner was salmon with rice. When I made the rice, I poured half a can of Campbell's French Onion soup concentrate (which boasts a sodium content of something like 38% per serving) into the rice-maker with 6 servings of rice. Having said it that way, I no longer can complain of the bland nature of the resulting product (though it's nice to have those onions mixed in with the rice).
It has not been a stressful day (except for the part involving The Paleolithic Job&trade, and Ithink know I'm on the glide path there).
All in all, despite the lack of human contact (phone calls excepted), it's been a pretty good Father's Day.
Cheers...
