Feeling a little tired...

After the marvelous fiasco of a morning, during which I made little or no progress in my work, I finally settled down and translated nearly 4,000 source words, most of them for The Seven Job™.

I have to devote a couple of hours tomorrow morning to cleaning the place up and then leaving for a while to let some prospective renters check the place out (don't ask), so by the time the afternoon rolls around, I figure I'll probably be in the same boat as I was today, so I'm going to figure I'll be able to complete another 4,000 words or so by about this time tomorrow.

That'll put me in pretty good shape to finish The Seven Job™ by COB Friday. And if that happens, I have a fair shot at making a delivery one week from today on a 35,000 word job I'm coming to think of as The Twisty-Little-Passages Job™ (so named because it's just an endless procession of what appear to be nearly identical—and mind-numbing—text segments that differ ever so slightly in each iteration).

In other news, the cleaning people left me in pretty good shape, so the large stones in my jar as far as that's concerned are to finish cleaning up the kitchen, clean up my office, and move a few boxes out of sight in the living room and in the "mother-in-law" suite.

Never a dull moment, let me tell you.
