Feb. 21st, 2013 10:45 amA check sent at the end of December to my Colorado address finally arrived yesterday, with "Delivered to wrong address" scrawled in red on the front of the envelope.
The reason why I hadn't squawked to the client about this earlier is beyond the ken of this post, but what is noteworthy, in my opinion, is the fact that the postmark on the yellow forwarding label was the day after the postmark on the envelope itself, which suggests that the forwarding process originated at the sender's post office.
And that whoever received this envelope in error basically sat on it for almost two months, but that's an altogether different issue.
