Certainly an unconventional Memorial Day weekend!

Natalie and Kyle had intended to leave at the crack of dawn yesterday, so as to be able to spend at least a little time with the grandkids as they passed through Pagosa on the way to Calgary. However, since tomorrow is a holiday (no school), and since they were pretty far from being packed for the trip, they decided to delay their departure for 18 hours or so, which would afford an opportunity to get further along from the packing perspective and to spend a little more time with Galina and me.

After hitting the sack early yesterday evening, they got up and hit the road just about an hour ago.
