Making it "official"...
Jul. 25th, 2013 09:59 pmI just got off the phone with Delta after having changed my return flight date. And while that's certainly not an earth-shattering achievement, it did improve my mood.
The door to the dining room was locked when I went down to dinner at about 7 pm. It turns out the dining room was closed because everyone was expected to go to the Polyot dining room, where tonight was "Mexican" food night.
The menu wasn't extensive, but everyone was able to get their hands on some excellent burritos fixin's (including, if I am not mistaken, the kitchen staff, who tend to regard us Americans as a bit nuts for consuming the kind of stuff we do). The "new shift" of French staffers seemed a little wary of the menu, as well (and even more so of the collection of hot sauces standing on the tables), but by the time I headed back to the hotel, the French were enthusiastically consuming their burritos and pouring hot sauce on them between bites.
Time to get some rest.
