Another day, another step...
Oct. 7th, 2013 10:28 pmNot a big one, but a step. I did not expect it to take as long as it did, but then again, some driving around with Galina and a short afternoon nap helped stretch things out.
I got back in time from tai chi to fire up the Roku and take in the pilot of The Blacklist, which Galina had described to me as having a strong resemblance to The Silence of the Lambs. I did not find the parallels to be all that strong (in the beginning, yes, but not so much as the story developed), but the story line is intriguing. Unfortunately, it runs in the same time slot as Castle, and The Blacklist is simply not compelling enough to make me want to watch it first; fortunately, the new show does appear to be available on Hulu, and barring that, there's always a trusty DVR at hand.
