Not a whole lot going on...
Oct. 6th, 2013 09:41 pmWe revisited the estate sale that had turned out to be for a woman Galina had worked with back when she had her real estate license parked with RE/MAX. We had stumbled across it a on Friday, but saw little of interest, and that despite the exhorbitant prices that were being asked.
Naturally, if an outside company is involved in organizing the sale, the prices for items is going to be high. Galina managed to find out that the company was taking a 40% cut of sales, which sounds high until you think about the logistics involved. There were probably four people working the sale, not counting the (presumably) off-duty cop at the front door.
The rest of the day was pretty much given over to a little shopping at Wal-Mart and a whole lot of digging and cleaning in my office closet.
Cheers...
