About time...
Dec. 30th, 2013 09:27 pmWell, after waiting for over a month (during which time I made three visits to the dentist to deal with issues having to do with my temporary crown), I've finally gotten the "permanent" crown in place.
As he inserted it, the dentist announced that I would be able to eat and drink anything I wanted straightaway after leaving the office. This reminded me of the (very) old joke about the patient who pointed to the cast on his recently broken (and set) arm and asked "Will I be able to play the violin after this cast comes off?"
You know the rest, I'm sure.
There was a brief frenzy of purchases earlier in the day, driven by the looming end of the year. One day left before we do it all again.
