Zip-a-dee-doo-dah!
Apr. 3rd, 2014 10:57 amIt was a good thing Galina was standing next to the sink this morning when the coupling on the hot water line to the faucet broke apart. The result was a pretty wet kitchen, because I could not get to the cutoff valve (which was some distance behind a copious spray of hot water), requiring me to run to the garage, grab a wrench, and then hie myself out to the street, to the cutoff valve for the house.
I ended up replacing both of the rubber grommets, as the one that had originally been on the hot water line had been installed in a sort of haphazard manner. Things are returning to normal, slowly, but it looks like I'm probably going to have to stay behind this morning to play catch-up while Galina goes to pick up Natalie at the airport.
More later, maybe.
