Looking up...
Aug. 14th, 2014 09:58 pmAlmost came down with a hat trick, two days ago, of events (of a private nature) occurring in such a way as to make life one heck of a lot easier. That was offset by some professional advice to the effect that Galina and I would be better off staying in the house here in Seabrook for another few years.
The advice does not come as any kind of disappointment, as both Galina and I like the house, but I must admit it's a bit large for our needs. No matter; we'll figure out how to optimize.
The Routine Stuff™ was a bit light today, which did not disappoint me, as it gave me some time to catch up on invoicing. Feht called, too; he and his wife have apparently arrived home after a fairly extensive working vacation in Europe. I don't recall much of the conversation, so I must be sure to follow up with emails to document all the cool things he had to relate, such as the need, when in the Czech Republic, to drink the unfiltered, draft edition of Pilsner Urquell for an unforgettable experience.
Tai chi went very well this evening. I was introduced to the rudiments of a new "push-hands" drill.
In real estate news, there is a good possibility that Galina has successfully found a renter for Natalie's house. We'll find out conclusively tomorrow.
That said, I suppose I should go get ready to retire for the evening.
Cheers...
