Huge craziness...
Oct. 21st, 2014 11:17 pmBringing a new client on board.
Client has a few quirks. There's paperwork to fill out, and so on., which I filled out, scanned and returned. In response, one of their scribes gets me set up with their online project management system, and then sends me my username and password in a cleartext email.
After submitting the big job yesterday morning, I spent most of the rest of yesterday taking care of my own "paperwork" (invoices, etc.), except none of it actually involves paper.
Also, some sharpening of the saw.
Also, my LJ Idol post (but it mostly wrote itself).
Also, some planning for an upcoming project.
Today was spent, inter alia, trying to install an exFAT driver on my Ubuntu notebook (it was actually easy, once I stopped trying to follow the instructions I found on the Internet for doing so).
The inter alia consisted of about 4,000 words and an hour's worth of incorporating revisions.
Cheers...
