Plugging away...
Nov. 6th, 2014 10:23 pmToday was one of those days when you think that the task you have to complete is too big for the time available, so somewhere around noon, I began to resign myself to the fact that I would skip my tai chi class tonight.
The problem is, in my current "configuration" (by myself while Galina is in New York and facing the Deadlines from Hades™), my activities—as I suggested in yesterday's post—have been pretty limited.
Feed the dogs.
Work.
Feed the cats.
Work.
Remove "foreign material" from the box with the cat litter.
Work.
Eat.
Work.
Sleep
Work.
Feed the dogs.
Work.
And so on. (Did I mention the work?)
This is why, at about 4 pm today, as it actually began to look as if I might get to a good place within an hour or two, my spirits lifted, because I absolutely, positively had to make it to my class, if for no other reason than as a change of pace.
And so I did.
And now I'm back.
I've taken a look at the 430-page document that I have to deliver tomorrow by about noon, and my confidence is back to where it should be.
So at least I'll start tomorrow with a level playing field, I think.
Cheers...
