Mar. 20th, 2015 05:03 pmThe kids took off for Canada early this morning, which had brought an end to three days of dietary cheating of various kinds.
Last night, we went to a place called "LA Crawfish," which has a pretty limited menu (basically, crawfish, shrimp, crab legs, chicken wings, and phở) and, I noticed, doesn't serve alcohol. I mention that because all of my previous endeavors involving the consumption of crawfish involved copious quantities of beer, particularly if the crawfish was prepared á la Cajun.
It was Kyle's first experience with crawfish, and he fell into the rhythm rather quickly.
Work has been bouncing along this week. I've been fortunate enough to take care of The Usual Stuff™ in the mornings, so I could spend much of the rest of the day with the kids. Workwise, as of a few minutes ago, I have probably a solid day of work left, and two days in which to complete it.
