Throwback Thursday?

I was going through some stuff (which I ought probably include among "hobbies" on my résumé, if I actually had a résumé), and I found the following photo, taken—if memory serves—at the editorial offices of Novosti Kosmonavtiki (Новости космонавтики) back in—and here, I'm pulling a year out of my... hat—1997 or so.



Long shot: Anyone know who these folks might be?

I've gotten over my rage...

I spent most of the day trying to cram 10 kilos of stuff into a 2 kilo bag, although my Drill Instructor from boot camp would probably not have used an SI unit and almost certainly would have been more specific about what "stuff" was being crammed.

I here refer to a certain PowerPoint presentation that merely serves as additional evidence in favor of the idea that

Anyone who aspires to use PowerPoint ought to be required to obtain a license to do so, and it should be impossible to get a license.

As I said, I've gotten over my rage, and I don't want to fan life into whatever dying embers of it that may remain by trying to even begin to explain the many deviant ways in which the ancestors of the person...

Calmness is paramount, brother!

And we should refrain from thinking about said person's other evident degenerate shortcom...
