Pen club night...

The idea of a "pen club" might sound a little puerile, but there were about 30 people at this evening's gathering of the local Houston club, and the subject at hand was, of course, fountain pens.

And the magazine Pen World, which is a dead-tree-only publication, but one that provides a rich tactile experience, in my opinion.

And writing for the magazine, except that I really am not qualified to hold forth at any advanced level on fountain pens.

But that's fixable.

* * *In other news, I walked a mile in the fitness club swimming pool today, and am thinking I may have overdone it. I'll know better tomorrow.
