Not enough time...
Oct. 20th, 2015 10:49 pmIt was one of those days. As days generally go, it hasn't been a bad one, and workwise, it's actually been pretty good.
I managed to snag some more work, but I'm going to have to do better to get out of the hole I'm in. Moreover, I'm finding that I'm having to take a completely different approach to quality control ("despeckling") for this new stuff, one that requires me to invest scads more time to make sure I'm delivering a quality product.
Tai chi went well. Sifu provided some invaluable tips on doing the "roll ball" drill (if you saw two people doing it, you would probably not associate it with rolling any ball, but still...).
I came home to try and fulfill the requirements for the latest Udemy challenge, which is due this evening, but between the lateness of the hour and my computer hanging upon loading my video editor, I'm afraid I'm just going to have to pass on this one. If absolutely nothing else, I've determined that attempting to provide a "player's eye" view of a real chessboard is not something I am capable of providing with the equipment I have on hand.
Tomorrow is another day. I'm going to spend some quality time at the mine face, I gah-rohn-tee!
Cheers...
