Proceeding (almost) according to plan...

Received more over-the-transom work today, which is always a good thing when times are tough. I also was informed that a big slug of work was in the pipeline, which both heartened me and made me wince, because historically, promises of "work in the pipeline" have rarely panned out.

We shall see, however. In any event, I shall go abroad (in the sense of "out of the house") to go press some flesh tomorrow morning.

Things are going to get better, and tomorrow is going to be a big day!
