A hiccup of a day...

The productivity of the past couple of days took a hit today, as what I imagined to be a short ophthalmological followup in the afternoon dragged on longer than anyone expected, leaving not enough time between its end and the start of my taiji (太極拳) class for me to get any momentum going on the current Next Big Job™ (though as of a few minutes ago, I had managed to get over 1300 words translated).
