So, it's like this...
Dec. 23rd, 2015 03:37 pmI didn't actually play "hooky" yesterday, but I didn't get a whole lot done either, translation-wise. So I sat down today with a gleam in my eye and something like 50 pages of my translation—the pages with figures on them—printed out and ready to be keyed by hand.
That didn't take long.
But I've spent pretty much the rest of the day until now at the "second 80%" of the the keying process, which involves creating tables with the key numbers and the translations of what's been keyed.
I'm at nearly 3,000 words, and I'm beat. I have 6 more figures to go, and who mightn't it be but the fine Mister Murphy, on the job with enthusiasm, as these graphics have a whole lot of text in 'em!
Gonna take a break.
I may even finish this tomorrow, I don't know.

UPDATE: Upon examining the contents of my outbox, it appears I completed and sent two jobs to my best client, so I guess I meant to say I didn't get a whole lot done "as far as this RRBJ™ was concerned."
All figures have been keyed while Galina was attending "girls night out." Tomorrow morning, I expect to pass my eyeballs over the documents one last time (spot check) and then addio RRBJ™!
