Moving along with small jerks and bumps...

I had intended to finish everything that is due tomorrow (at least the first draft) tonight, before hitting the sack. I've gotten to within 500 words of that goal, which is close enough. If nothing else, the 500 words will be a good warm-up to get the creative juices moving in the morning.

We had a tornado warning earlier in the evening, and the news at 10 did its best to show any and everything that viewers captured on their cell phones that even vaguely resembled a nascent funnel cloud (though admittedly, one or two images were easier to imagine as such).

Me, I spent an hour catching up with the latest episode of Elementary, which just gets better as the show rolls along.

Time to hit the sack. I'm still intent on getting up early tomorrow, though perhaps not at oh-dark-thirty.
