It occurs to me...

On the occasion of the 15th "birthday" of my LiveJournal late last June, which determined that I had posted around 2.4 million words here, I've entertained the idea of extracting a book from that swamp. Say, a collection of my LJ Idol posts, perhaps even revised and expanded somewhat.

It occurs to me that perhaps I was, um, conservative in my thinking.

Maybe there's more than one book here.

The question is: would anyone read a book about my "year in Baikonur," which was spent over a series of visits that spanned just over a decade?

I guess the answer would be: How interesting could I make the tale?

I had better stop dreaming of castles in Spain, however. If I'm going to do this, I better light a fire...
