O frabjous day!
May. 11th, 2016 12:53 pmSome while back, while "maintaining" my work web site, I well and truly blew off a "are you sure you want to do this?" prompt and decisively deleted the files for the entire site.
On the one hand, this tended to sour my mood on the "happy camper" scale, but since my work web site has zero to do with my day-to-day pay-the-bills activities, I put the issue on the back burner and went on about my business.
Imagine my surprise, then, to find—while "maintaining" files on the part of the server that I rent—that a backup exists of said site, dated last August. Considering just how rarely I update my work web site, it's entirely conceivable that the blessed thing has now been restored.
It's still not going to make a whit of difference to my bottom line (which is something to which I should probably give some thought, with the idea of changing that), but at least now folks don't get an error message when they go to that site.
Cheers...
