Working my way back to you, babe...

The subject makes no sense, really, except as the runup to my own personal all-time blooper of a mondegreen ("...with the bird of love in sight!" instead of "...with a burning love inside"), but make no mistake—today was a work day.

It took me long enough to translate about 2400 source words, but in the end, the job was done. Final despeckling will take place tomorrow.

My leisure for the day consisted in a nice, long swim at the beach (not a "swim," actually... more of a "soak") and a walk back to the house. Lunch and dinner were both pretty scrumptious without going overboard.

My to-do list looks as if nobody has done a thing about a thing, which is probably the result of my having decided to not accompany Natalie and Kyle into the city tomorrow. I still have too many other "detail" things to do, and I'm going to try to get them all done tomorrow, along with (for example) my "pack airplane carry-on" item, which by all rights ought to have been done this evening if I was going into Manhattan, because Saturday morning is going to be... pretty... uh... hectic.

Just a feeling I have, that's all. :)

That said, today I had yet another early start to the day, so I should probably seek an early end with some well-deserved rack drill.
