A helpless slave to fashion...

Natalie and Kyle seemed to enjoy playing Pokémon Go so much that... I installed the app on my own phone.

I did so figuring that, since owning a smartphone already compromises my privacy in terms of, inter alia, my whereabouts, the app cannot degrade that aspect of smartphone ownership all that much. That said, I don't know enough about this game to say anything intelligent about it yet.

We had planned a day in the city today, but the weather seemed sort of threatening, finally dumping an excellent quantity of rain on the property late in the afternoon.

I made a bunch of notes regarding the shortcomings in my "road warrior" setup and set about fixing some of them to improve my overall "work away from home" experience.

Time to hit the rack. Today was one of those "early rise" days as well (in anticipation of the day trip) and I have to admit, after a bunch of keyboard time and an excellent dinner (salad, cheese, duck and andouill gumbo, garlic guacamole with chips, and almost two beers), the pillow's invitation is quite insistent.
