Best laid plans, etc.

I was going to take the time to do something of a more complete debrief of myself and the recent trip to New York, but the will to do so has evaporated.

I have corrected the major shortcomings of my "road warrior" machine, which held me back, somewhat, during my trip, and apparently managed to leave New York with all of the chargers and USB cables suitable for use with cell phones, to Galina's annoyance.

I did not get much translation work done today, mostly due to a lack of will and finding myself with an article whose terminology just out-and-out stumped me. The intelligent thing, of course, would have been to move on to some other article—to get the juiced flowing, so to speak—but since I'm going to have to do this one anyway, I figured I'd avoid repeating the same fruitless searches for terminology later and just prosecute this thing to the end.

Which is a point I have yet to encounter for a laughably short article.

I think I shall shut all of this marvelous technology down and go watch something on the Tube.
