Thursday night...
Sep. 15th, 2016 11:04 pmWow, what a night!
The day was pretty good. For the second day in a row, I felt like a more or less functional human. Doing runs to the old house definitely impacts my productivity, but at least I'm not sleeping through most of the day.
At taiji, our sifu introduced the class to some basic qin na (擒拿), a "seizing art" that involves controlling one's opponent by locking various parts of his or her body into configurations that, when moved, cause intense pain because such body configurations were not designed to move in such ways. (My first cut at a "naïve" definition. I'm sure better ones exist Out There™, but I'm too lazy right now to research them.)
But I can only cry "Look at the time!" and defer further discussion until another time.
Where the heck did that liniment go?
Cheers...
