So, over some fairly long period of time, I've gone from being a reluctant user of MemoQ (a "translation memory" program) to basically living in the application for days on end, which is why I cannot understand how it turns out that the icon for the program no longer appears among my "Most used" applications when I click on what passes for the Start button on Windows 10.

But at least the application still appears among all the other applications I can get at, or invoke via (I think) Cortana, so I'll just add this to the thousand and one little ways I have had to adjust my way of dealing with my computer in order to use the blessed thing.

Who knows? Maybe, by keeping my brain active, all these little changes will help stave off what appears to be either (a) incipient dementia or (b) an impressive level of chemo-induced absent-mindedness.

My physical recovery time seems pretty good—knock wood. Yesterday morning, my right arm and shoulder hurt like the dickens, and my left lower back was "out" again, but after a night of sleeping on the floor (the only way I found that I could actually sleep, as the air mattress was a definite no-go and the mattress I've strung concertina around the mattress I've otherwise been sleeping on, as a reminder to stay the hell away), I actually feel pretty chipper.

There is also a noticeable reduction in fatigue, so far. Then again, I slept until almost 10 am this morning. :)

Cheers...
