A long day...
Oct. 22nd, 2016 09:30 pmIt was a long day of translation, but I managed to complete nearly 3,000 source words.
I also managed to put some items up for sale on eBay. I never can generate sufficient "inertia," in terms of getting used to the interface, to make that kind of thing easier. Fortunately, we are entering that time of year during which people start looking at eBay quite a bit more often than, say, in March or May.
More aircraft noise got me to grab my camera and go outside. About the only thing I saw (or I think I saw) was a demonstration of a modern-day jet fighter (my recognition skills are rusty, but I think it was an F-16) being flown slow enough so as not to overtake a single-engine propeller-driven aircraft. All attempts at photography turned out fuzzy (like my eyesight about now, after more than 12 hours or so at the screens).
More of the same tomorrow; I hope my eyes recover by then.
Cheers...
