Still kicking...

There's a jolly good reason why posting every day (or pretty much every day) is a good idea. If you don't, stuff gets forgotten.

What did we do Saturday? Galina and I went over to Drew and Shannon's for breakfast, after which the day is sort of a blur. Huntur just got her learner's permit—a milestone that makes me feel old, especially as I blogged about her birth in my relatively new LiveJournal, back in the day, but I digress...

I volunteered to be the whatever the formal term is (adult driver?) for a run to City Market, and of course everything went fine, and I just hope my calming words will be remembered in the future.

Galina and I had dinner at Drew and Shannon's, too. They subscribe to some kind of online service that delivers all of the ingredients required to cook a meal to your door. I believe the evening's menu was Rosemary Chicken with I forget what else. Saturday was a pretty good day.

Natalie and Kyle drove in from Denver late yesterday afternoon, and we had dinner consisting of turkey and other goodies. (The main Thanksgiving meal will be on the traditional day, and will involve both Drew's side and Shannon's side of the family hosted at Shannon's parents' house.) Yesterday was not a particularly good day for me, pain-wise, and I'm getting to the point where I'm beginning to dread going to sleep.

I'm going to keep a game face on today. Back still hurts, but I'm going to work on making it go away.
