The best of times, the worst of times...
Nov. 27th, 2016 09:02 pmI exaggerate, of course.
On the one hand, it was great to hang out with the family last week, but for some reason (altitude is all I can come up with), everthing started to hurt all at once, so I went through some pretty heavy-duty painkillers to keep an even keel. That said, any desire I might have had to work—evern for a couple of hours a day—evaporated like dew suddenly exposed to a blazing desert sun.
By comparison, the drive home was a piece of cake. I pulled my share of time behind the wheel, and we arrived home yesterday.
Today was an "okay" day but I could not gather my wits and concentrate.
Ah, well. At least I'm posting.
Cheers...
