I don't have time for this...
Apr. 15th, 2017 08:32 pmNo weekend (especially Easter weekend) can be considered complete without a major snafu involving one's router. I managed to brick the thing, despite the highest degree of conscientiousness.
What then started as a trek to the Webster house to dig up an old router (it's simply amazing to realize how much I depend on there being an Internet connection at hand), ended up with me stopping by Fry's, which just so happened to have some routers on sale via their dad-blasted "promotion" system, whereupon I bought a new ASUS router, which took me about 10 minutes to configure to my liking (in terms of broad brush strokes, not details).
The interface seems adequate enough for me to not immediately think of flashing DD-WRT onto the thing (not to mention that I've had enough of that activity for a while).
Surprisingly, I'm feeling completely... okay (if a bit weak and easily fatigued). Here's hoping the chemo is doing its job.
Cheers...
