Galina's birthday...
Jun. 8th, 2017 08:05 pmI got up at 4:30 am to get a head start on the day. I wanted to get the last 1000 words of a dismantlement plan translated, after which I needed to get some flowers and chocolate, all preferably before Galina woke up.
Made it in the shade.
After breakfast, Alla and I took off for Fry's to return a set of bathroom scales that looked better on the box than in real life. There was nothing else there of interest, so we headed for Bed, Bath & Beyond, where we found a suitable set of scales.
From there, we proceeded to the mall, where I managed to pick up a case for Galina's phone, after which I stopped and picked out an item of jewelry that I presented a few minutes ago, as the ladies were enjoying some Prosecco (and I was quaffing carbonated apple cider, this being the first day after chemo).
A wholly successful day, I'd say.
