New windows...
Jul. 29th, 2017 07:43 amI went over to the Webster house early this morning to make sure the guys who were coming to install the windows had clear areas to work in and so on. They arrived pretty much when they said they would and got down to business.
Galina came by a little bit later, and after we did some grocery shopping, she stayed at the house and I went home. I cannot boast of a highly productive day, but I did get some things done.
Around 6 pm, I called Galina to get a status and was told the guys were installing the last window. At 7 pm I started cooking dinner. On the menu—buckwheat with portobello mushrooms, tomatoes, and onions with a side of asparagus in lemon butter. I started to get worried when Galina failed to materialize as the meal was approaching the end of the cooking cycle, but she came home soon after and everything turned out well in the end.
Cheers...
